Planning and realisation of all audio content for the voice based enquiry portal 11864 of German Telekom
The portal included the following subsections: Telephone information (numbers and addresses), alarm clock service, ring tone download, price comparison, information about soccer, city guide
The 11864 was a project of the German Telekom, with the goal to extend the directory assistance by a voice-controlled system and to combine it with different value-added services. These were to be made appealing by professional audio design. In the course of the project, among other things, a corporate voice was developed, which was also used to develop a project-specific text-to-speech (TTS) engine for the playback of addresses. For the individual services, individual audio designs were developed that were tailored to the service. These were implemented through targeted casting of the speaker roles, wording adapted to the service, and extensive sound design. A special feature was the "celebrity alarm clock", a section of the wake-up service for which recordings with prominent footballers such as Lahm or Magath were integrated.
